I recently read Scott Berkun's book "The Myths of Innovation," which indicates basically the same thing: that anyone can be creative under the right circumstances. I think this is true, but it is important to consider that every person has different strengths and abilities. The popular book "strengthfinder 2.0" lists thirty-something odd strengths, only a handful of which imply creativity as a core competency.
